Kimberly and Christopher’s Wedding

Saturday, September 21 at 2:00 PM

Thank you for joining us on this very special day. We can’t wait to share our ceremony and the farm with you! This page will be a hub where you can access all the details you need for arrival.

If you like reading (or being read to) and you’d like to know the story of how this whole wedding day came about, you can read Kim’s creative essay at Ten Times I Said No To Love. It’s a love story for Christopher but also a love story to the farm.

Gifts are not expected, but if you would like to celebrate by giving, consider a donation to Bramblewood Stables. Gifts to the farm are not tax deductible, but your generosity gives back to the community in enormous ways:

  • Continual improvement of the land and soil in this 90 acre haven. The work is never finished and current projects include erosion control on the hillside at the rear of the stable area, re-establishing native flora and fauna, and preservation of the old growth forest.

  • The Choo Memorial Scholarship Fund, that provides the healing power of horses to people who normally would not be able to afford equine assisted services.

  • We are privileged to have been caregivers to this land for almost 20 years. The farm itself is a piece of Greenville, SC history and we are dedicated to the ongoing care and maintenance of this protected, beautiful place of natural serenity.

  • Our school horse herd of 15 horses that are all seniors who have traveled long, hard paths to reach their forever home at the farm. These horses are the backbone of our program and their care and maintenance are supported by all farm programs and the sponsorship of incredible benefactors. Our community forms a village with a guiding mission to give these horses the best possible lives long into retirement.

  • Program development to continue and elaborate our offerings to the 150 + clients who visit us every month.

This farm exists because of the community that loves and cares for it, and we welcome you to the Bramblewood family as you celebrate Kim and Christopher’s union in the forest surrounding a space that lives love in the truest sense every day.
